Joe Tudisco joined Vespa Stone in 2020 with a wealth of experience in the stone fabrication and installation arena.  For 31 years, Joe worked in his family’s business, Fiorano Tile & Marble.  During that time, Joe was responsible for much of the growth and expansion of Fiorano.  In 1980, he started their custom stone fabrication division.  In the late 1980’s, as part of the surge of interest in granite countertops, he worked with the Sbarro International restaurant chain, fabricating and installing thousands of tops for over 500 Sbarro restaurants worldwide.  In the early 1990’s, Fiorano started a wholesale tile and stone division called FTI Distributors.  To keep up with the growth of FTI, Joe designed and built a 30,000 square foot distribution facility from which to operate, and also started their installation division serving the NY-metropolitan area.  At its peak, Fiorano had 4 retail locations, 2 warehouses, a fabrication facility and 35 employees with multiple installation crews.

Several years ago, Joe made the move to Port Morris Tile & Stone as Senior Project Manager in their Special Projects Division.  Some of the featured projects Joe managed included the Trinity School, Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Moynihan Station Terrazzo, and senior management’s personal penthouse apartments at 30 Park Place in NYC.

Since joining Vespa Stone in the capacity of Senior Project Manager, Joe has been involved in such key projects as 1345 Avenue of the Americas, Trinity Church, MSK Hospital, NY Presbyterian Hospital, Lincoln Center, Pace University, Museum of Modern Art, several projects at Hudson Yards, retail space at the Empire State Building, and many more.

Joe earned a degree in Electronic Field Engineering from DeVry Technical Institute and is OSHA 30 Hour certified.  Joe is a NY State Paramedic and power plant mechanic for the Federal Aviation Administration.  When not at work, Joe enjoys fishing, boating and long range precision target shooting.
